In an aim for further leaps forward
Shoei Foods Corporation's historical roots can be traced back to its predecessor, Seikosha Gyunyuten, which started operations in 1904. In its current form, the company was established in 1947, and has since supplied ingredients to the food industry focusing particularly on the confectionary and bread manufacturing sectors.
In addition to dairy products, which have been a core business area since our establishment, Shoei Foods Corporation has expanded operations into dried fruits and nuts (such as raisins, walnuts, and almonds), commercial food ingredients (such as processed fruits, chestnut products, oils and fats, pasta and processed tomato products, and dessert ingredients), chocolate confectionery, and other products. We source ingredients through imports and domestic procurement, but are also active as a food manufacturer, operating nine plants located in Japan and overseas.
Guided by our corporate philosophy of "creating a new food culture and contributing to society by consistently providing our customers with safe and reliable food products carefully sourced from domestic and overseas suppliers," Shoei Foods Corporation will continue to strengthen its integrated functions (covering ingredient procurement, processing and manufacturing, and sales and distribution) with the aim of accurately responding to the changing needs of our customers going forward.
