Kyo Marron Co., Ltd. Amakusa Plant
Business began in 1960 as Taiyo Foods Co., Ltd. Amakusa Plant. The company continued business as Sanei Foods Co., Ltd., a company established in 1977, through joint investment by ShoEi Foods Corporation and two other companies, and was merged in 1998 with affiliate Kyo Marron Co., Ltd. The company has since served as Kyo Marron Amakusa Plant. The plant manufactures a wide range of products such as chestnut paste and chestnuts compote, as well as packaged prunes and various desserts. Just like the Mitsukaido Plant, the plant actively promotes quality control and earned ISO9001 certification in 2013.
